Dream Girl 2 is an Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama movie released in 2023 which was directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under Balaji Motion Pictures.
A spiritual part of the 2019 movie Dream Girl, the movie includes actor Ayushmann Khurrana, alongside an ensemble backing cast, like Ananya Panday, Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, Asrani, Abhishek Banerjee, Manjot Singh and Seema Pahwa. The movie is about a guy who cross-dresses and hides himself as a woman, leading to a lot of mess and chaos.
The principal photography of this movie started in August 2022 and was completed in March 2023. It was released theatrically released on the date of 25 August 2023. The movie obtained mixed reviews from critics. It was a commercial hit, making more than ₹140 crore worldwide, arising as the eleventh-highest-grossing Hindi movie of 2023.

To wed his love, Karam, a middle-class boy, hides himself as Pooja and evolves as a dancer at a bar to make money fast. However, his cross-dressing shortly lands him a complex confusion.
Critical Reception
On the review aggregator blog Rotten Tomatoes, Dream Girl 2 obtained a rating of 8% depending on 12 reviews, with an average rating of 4.7 stars out of 10 stars.
Taran Adarsh of Bollywood Hungama cited the movie 3.5 stars out of 5 stars and noted “Dream Girl 2 works due to the story, laughable scenes, commercial treatment, and performances.”
Dhaval Roy of The Times of India rated the movie 2.5 stars out of 5 stars.
