Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is an Indian Hindi-language science fiction cyberpunk action-thriller film released in 2024 which was composed and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who even co-produced it with Jackky Bhagnani, Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Himanshu Kishan Mehra under the flags of Pooja Entertainment and AAZ movies.
The movie includes Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in the titular roles with Prithviraj Sukumaran as the antagonist. It even contains Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F, Sonakshi Sinha, and Ronit Bose Roy in pivotal roles. The movie follows two former soldiers who reunite and race against time to preserve India from a close attack directed by a vengeful mad scientist.
The movie was revealed in February 2022. The principal photography started in January 2023 and was completed in February 2024 with filming held in Mumbai, Scotland, London, Luton, Abu Dhabi, and Jordan. The soundtrack was written by Vishal Mishra, while Julius Packiam provided the background score, with Marcin Laskawiec as the cinematographer and Steven H. Bernard as the editor. The visual effects of these movies are managed by DNEG.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was theatrically published on the date of 11 April 2024, coinciding with Eid. The movie was encountered with mixed to negative reviews.

Critical Reception
Bollywood Hungama critic rated 2.5 out of 5 stars and noted “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan suffers due to a vulnerable script and poor dialogues, however, it is a proper to see for the fans of Akshay Kumar, and Tiger Shroff.”
Saibal Chatterjee of NDTV gave only 1 star out of 5 and noted “The tale is astonishingly hollow.”
Shubhra Gupta of The Indian Express cited the film as 1 star and noted that it is a “complete snoozefest”. Gupta further noted, “If only the movie had completely adopted its cartoonish qualities, it may have evolved as an enjoyable.”
Sukanya Verma of Rediff.com ranked 1/5 stars and marked”Forget comic chops, you’ll not see an ounce of connection between Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff as they proceed about firing ammo and flexing abs at a zombie-like army for almost three severe hours of this loud drivel.”
Monika Rawal Kukreja of Hindustan Times said “For those with a predilection for action movies, good, bad, or ugly, BMCM will push for a one-time watch. If nothing else, Akshay and Tiger’s onscreen friendship and bromance is particularly special, and it translates well from real to reel.”
Ronak Kotecha of Times of India rated the movie 3.5 stars out of 5, noting”Director Ali Abbas Zafar, who is famous for delivering explosive entertainers like the Tiger series, once again shows his expertise in the genre. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan goes out all guns lighting to create an entertaining potboiler with heart-pounding action, cheeky humor, and hardly a dull moment.”
Titas Chowdhury of News18 cited the film 3 stars out of 5 and composed “To be fair, it would be unfair to call Bade Miyan Chote Miyan only an action entertainer.”
