Ayothi is an Indian Tamil-language drama movie that was released in 2023 and was directed by newcomer R. Manthira Moorthy, starring M. Sasikumar, Yashpal Sharma, Preethi Asrani, Pugazh, Anju Asrani and Master Advaith Vinod in the lead roles.

Ayothi Movie 2023 Plot
After his wife passes in an accident on family travel to Rameswaram, Balram and his kids choose to go back home to Ayodhya with the body. They discover themselves faced with a variety of barriers, but Abdul Malik, a kind man, offers to assist them.
Critical Reception
The movie was published on the date of 3 March 2023 across Tamil Nadu. Logesh Ramachandran of The Times of India who rated the movie 3.5 stars out of 5 stars after reviewing the movie commented that “Ayothi is a film that always emphasizes passion over religion, and it’s worth watching”.
An analyst from Maalai Malar said “He has excellently worked among the characters. Although there are logical violations in the movie, they do not appear to be major.” Chandhini R of Cinema Express gave the movie 3.5 out of 5 stars and composed “This Sasikumar-starrer is full of heart and finally, marred by melodrama”.
Gopinath Rajendran of The Hindu composed that “Ayothi points out the cracks in the walls of such constructs that are crushing under the importance of their principles, and in due course, asks the all-important query.”
